Planet Earth

Published: January 28, 2012, Author: JayTaber

Over New Year, the Planet Earth international seminar was held in Chiapas to discuss the importance of the 1994 Zapatista uprising in context of resistance to neoliberalism now taking place across the globe. In examining the dysfunction of the modern state, the Committee of Indigenous Solidarity issued a special report, Another Way of Seeing the World–Zapatistas: 18 Years of Rebellion and Resistance.
