The Center for World Indigenous Studies
Chief George Manuel Memorial Library, a node of the
World Wide Web Library System, has launched a new Research
Branch. The Research Branch is a growing searchable database
of digitized documents, reports, publications and
other image resources held in the Library Archives in hardcopy
form. Collections in the new Branch include documents, essays,
manuscripts and records in the fields of Traditional Healing Arts and Sciences, Fourth World
Geopolitics, Holistic Environmental Management, Fourth World
Studies, and Consciousness Studies.
In addition, records and documents of historical importance
have been preserved for researchers. Additions to the Research
Branch and its several collections are made daily. Most
documents
may be retrieved from the Research Branch in Adobe Acrobat
PDF format. Donations to the Center for World Indigenous
Studies in the amount of $10 (USD) or more registers you as a Researcher with a year of full access to the Research Branch.
As a Researcher you may search the database and download files
without limit. Institutions may also become a member to give
their students access to the Library.
